BTC Speciality Chemical Distribution A/S (BTC Nordic) is the northernmost member of BTC Europe. We cover the Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Iceland) as well as the Baltic region (Estland, Latvia, Lithuania). Our head office is in Copenhagen (Denmark) and our representatives are located in Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Lithuania.

Our international staff is very well equipped to face the challenges presented by a market that covers so many different countries, languages and business cultures. The members of our customer service staff speak at least three languages each including English. Multilingual service and a mix of different nationalities combined with local representation give us a solid base for good and stable customer relations.

BTC in Europe

BTC Nordic works in close cooperation with the other BTC's all over Europe. Among the synergy effects of a pan-European organisation are the benefits we can draw from each other's know-how, stock keeping and special products. Some BTC's run a repacking service for certain products and others can supply different so-called 3rd party products.

These are products that are not produced by the BASF group. They expand the product pallette we can offer our customers by being complimentary to BASF's product range. Examples are titanium dioxide and our own Nordic speciality: the innovative polymers from the Interpolymer Group.

BTC local as well as all BTC companies in Europe and the headquarters in Ludwigshafen are ISO 9001 registered.

The Interpolymer Group

BTC Nordic is the Nordic distributor for the Interpolymer Group. The Interpolymer product range (Syntran®) consists of innovative speciality polymers and binders for waxes. The main application areas are floor care products and carpet cleaners, but the range includes many other polymers for different uses like aqueous laquers or cosmetics.

We are pleased to have a very close cooperation with Interpolymer. We have arranged a series of customer seminars together and if specialized technical know-how is needed we can always rely on the support from Interpolymers technical department and laboratory.

SolVin

BTC Nordic is working in cooperation with SolVin on the Nordic market, distributing Diofan products for humidity barriers in the building industry.
